Born and raised on the vibrant west coast, Cashmere's lifelong passion for music and dance led her to embrace DJing many moons ago. After a hiatus dedicated to nurturing her children, she's back with fierce inspiration and determination, crafting sonic odysseys that captivate Dance Temple and a myriad of events and festivals across Vancouver Island. Notably, she's delighted audiences opening for Goopsteppa at the Waverly Hotel. also gracing stages at Cumberland Wild, Otherworld, Belonging and the Woodstove Festival. Currently inspired by various styles of House (including progressive, melodic, ethnic, bass, deep, tech )Bass, Downtempo, Drum and Bass (and more!), Cashmere interlaces a feminine energy into her mixes. Her sets have been praised for their soft, gentle allure as well as their enticing, profound depths. She aspires to evoke movement, emotions, a sense of the sacred and deep release through the music she thoughtfully curates. Firmly convinced that music and movement are potent healers, capable of transforming the human experience, Cashmere is ecstatic to share her boundless love and fervor for these art forms with the world.
