Agent Hooper

Tucked away in the coastal forest of Vancouver island.  Agent Hooper has been bringing smiles along with pumping fists to dancefloors for more than a decade.  He got his first turntable at the young age of four and quickly started loving music from all genres. In the late 90’s Agent Hooper pulled away for the alternative grunge movement and was quickly sucked into electronic music scene.  He started hitting the underground raves in Vancouver and was influenced by dj’s like Scotty Oh, and Deko-ze , and other big artists like Daft Punk, Propellerheads and the Chemical Brothers.  He moved to Vancouver Island in 1999 and started out playing at private parties with is computer, and shortly after he made his way to the vinyl.  Agent Hooper is currently a part of the Mushroom Manor collective in Courtenay, B.C. After playing many different genres of music he has progressed into his own style of Techhouse that he likes to call TechYes.  His popularity has grown as he has the acute ability to play the right music for the right time.  Not only is he in tune with the music but also to the experience he is sharing with his audience. He feeds off the energy of the crowd and seems to know instinctively which way to turn the beat.  His biggest desire when playing is that everyone is moving.
