Jennay Badger

Based in Victoria, British Columbia, Jennay Badger has solidified herself as an innovative and multifaceted Du, fueled by a profound passion for music. Notorious for her adept incorporation of hip-hop & R&B samples, paired with 4x4's and deep basslines, Badger draws inspiration from an eclectic array of electronic and live music genres. often pushing the boundaries to create genre-defying performances.

Jennay embarked on her DJing journey along the Vancouver Island circuit in the mid-2000s, captivating audiences at outdoor events before transitioning to club venues in 2014. She has graced the stages of prominent British Columbia festivals such as Rifflandia, Cumberland Wild, Laketown Shakedown, Song & Surf, and Altitude. In 2019, she relocated to Vancouver and swiftly asserted herself in the local scene, delivering sets at the renowned Red Room alongside Vancouver's preeminent bass purveyors, the Digital Motions crew. In 2017, she established the body-positive and gender-inclusive dance collective, Influx, showcasing her prowess not only as a Du but a true entertainer and innovator.

Whether commanding the peak-hour frenzy of a club or setting the mood with a chilled-out sunset session, Badger's performances are a revitalizing experience with her undeniable stage presence &. Having released several acclaimed mixtapes, including her celebrated snapsforbae series, Badger has now broadened her artistic horizons by venturing into production. This marks just the inception of an artist with boundless talent, charisma, and ambition.
