Sarah Osborne
Sarah Osborne is a singer-songwriter from the west coast of Canada. Playful and sultry vocals permeate her jazzy blues melodies. Hailing from a musical family and holding a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, this songstress and sea queen draws inspiration from the ballads of her childhood and the harshness and beauty of the natural world.
Sarah is a natural rambler and has played vastly diverse stages, from train cars crossing the country as part of the ‘Via Rail Artists on Board Program’, to house concerts in the Maritimes, outdoor bars in Central America, and the Capital Ballroom in Victoria, BC. She appears as a one-woman show and often with her rockin’ band “The Magic Buttons”. She thrives on the connection built with her audience through stories and songs.
Taking a break from her science career and wanderlust ways, Sarah is currently living on Gabriola Island in a tiny home among the trees. Most days she can be found working on her upcoming four volume “Seasons” recording project , swimming in the sea, and having a laugh with the locals.
