April Dawn Brass introducing the Dodge Debutant

April Dawn Brass is Swampy Cree from Opaskwayak Cree Nation in Manitoba and also calls the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island home.  April honours the caretakers of this land that has been a place of healing, growth and laughter.  She is a multi-faceted artist, music has been a part of her practice for as long as she can remember.

Music is healing for her spirit and likes to tear it up when she needs to burn off some steam.

Amanda Sullivan (Sista Sulli)

Sista Sulli calls Vancouver Island home from Camp Road in Cumberland, British Columbia.   She is firmly rooted in the family tradition of Bluegrass with a selecta style vibe spinning old school 45s and sharp wit when throwing down her own compositions.

The Dodge Debutantes

In 2005 when April landed in the community of Cumberland, British Columbia she met Sista Sulli who quickly became her adopted sister and music collaborator.

A duo founded on camp road in Cumberland,  British Columbia.  ADB and Sista Sulli shared their OG’s and heartfelt covers that would be the roots and evolution of THE DODGE DEBUTANTES.
